Yeah I agree. Personally I find images & links in signatures to be very annoying.

The idea is, what if I don't like seeing certain images? Perhaps yours is fine, but seeing images that I don't like seeing over & over again is annoying. For example, I detest the Twilight saga but if a member puts an image of Twilight on his/her signature & I keep seeing it, it puts my back up. My visit to this forum is already spoiled.

I personally would like signatures to be limited to words.

what if that happens to be his avatar? since you dont like seeing it over and over again, are we gonna have to ban that either?

I seriously think we should put this to a vote. With the boss' permission.

Signatures should consist of:
1. words only
2. images are allowed

@UJT: I don't think animated banners would be a good idea. It'll slow down page loading time. Our membership rate is going up, we're gonna have more users. The more streamlined the forum is, the better we can serve our community.
