[English] Training Session 8 Feb

To prepare teams for the upcoming NC Debate, we'll organize a training session on 8 Feb, Sunday. There will be 3 rounds: 11am, 2pm & 4pm. The topics to be debated (in no particular order) are:

1. THW ban pharmaceutical companies from giving monetary compensation to clinical trial volunteers.

2. TH supports full live television coverage of legislative sessions.

3. THBT conscription of child soldiers by their parents is justified in the war for freedom.

Topics are from AUDC IIUM 2008

Feel free to discuss the topics provided.
We will debate in respective teams & the format is Asian Parliamentary style.

The 2nd topic is very similar to the one for Royals '08 semifinals

marathon agn? will it be like last time? so tiring keep dragging..hopefully tis time will be faster. mid-terms r here n assignments to do...may the best candidate be selected..but then agn aint all orator members are asked to join the nc cup?? :P

No marathon the last time, not enough people & not enough time. Currently for NC cup only 5 teams. Very sad...
