well actually to be honest, this machine has no codec packs installed since its a bad one for watching videos, however I use K-Lite on my own personal machine.

have you ever tried to play a video that Windows did not recognize? AVI, MP4 etc... need to have codecs (decoder libraries) in order to watch those videos.

Err....codecs means "compressor-decompressor"

It separates the video and audio, runs them through separate channels and then process it. There's also one for subtitles, if the said file is using softsubs.

Yg biasa CCCP and K-Lite, tapi K-Lite Mega pack jrg org jumpa, slalu yg standard pack, tapi tu pun dh cukup.

Cuma hardware leh handle ke tak file tu, skrang file 720p and 1080p dh mula byk release. best gak tgk kalo ada monitor best...
