THOUSANDS of golden rays glide silently through the ocean – in an
amazing scene caught by an amateur photographer on a boat trip.




American Sandra Critelli, 41, snapped the stringray-type fish, which migrate
in shoals as big as 10,000, off Holbox Island in the Gulf of Mexico.


The textile designer, of Linden, New Jersey, said: “It was unreal –
unforgettable.”
