UMP no non-muslim food

OK, this is an ancient issue but i'm still creating this thread as i see some "lost" posts around.

Yeap, as we can see UMP still do not have chinese food, no indian food, and the most important vegetarian food.

Previous leaders already put an effort to try to solve this issue but still....maybe lack of time. hah. i said mayb. no harsh feeling ya.

Therefore, any suggestion to improve this matter shall be posted here. We will see what leaders will do.

i think wat we can do now is just hire an agent to supply chinese/indian food to UMP,so that they no need cook the "non-halal" in UMP.how?

non-muslim food or non-malay food?
or maybe what you wanna say is non-halal food?

malay not = to muslim?
chinese food but halal = muslim food rite?
or chinese food = not halal?

mayb a muslim will know how to explain this better than i do, im not muslim tho, but my idea was chinese food = not spicy, not goreng. can sorethroat.hahaha. oh plz, do not bring up wrong issues k. we don't wanna make this forum worse.

^lol... ..thats rather confusing!!! but i think the issue here is not bout non-halal food. its bout the diversity of food of different ethnic backgrounds. its juz that sometimes the non-malays feel they need to get to taste their own ethnic foods. its juz as simple as that. the malays won't have to worry much cuz all the foods we ever get in ump are malay foods. mayb all they ever have to worry is figuring out how to get to taste their own mothers' dishes, these im positive are what we grew up with, for your information.

yealo...I agree with u..i also dislike the yucks food sold at cafe KK1..
But always force to eat that sucks food even I dislike it...
Maybe it's OK for Malays but not Chinese especially me...
For me all the food sold at cafe is really worst...The worst food that i eat in my life...

walaupun sy muslim tp mmg betul masakan kt cafe kebanyakan pedas2...xsemua org melayu tahan makan pedas...harap dapat ubah menu skit2...sbb sy pn tgh menderita sakit tekak..hehe

yeap, ubah menu ke ala cina sikit, taklah pedas sangat, nnti jerawat semua kuar.hahaha

Either the opreators don't want to come here because they can't make much profit or UMP admin not letting them enter...

actually no one knows and i believe everyone is expecting MPP to deal with this matter.

It'd be nice if we can have a cooking corner...like 1 stall in the cafe managed by students only...I've discussed this with Chin Fei before, we were creating the menu, the cooking schedule...
