What does Boyfriend/Girlfriend means?

There are many definitions on what this relationship means, some people define it as just a status for both parties, some people think that people want to involve in this relationship because they have the motive to marriage, some people just want it for the sake of fun. What do you think?

well, all i find is it only means a relationship that could land u a marriage proposal by either party(it is 2008, women proposing to men is kinda like so normal) in the next couple years or a relationship that goes no further than being a buddy or an acquaintance, u know someone whom u always hang out with, go to the bar with, etc.

oh no, i'm in confusion stat now. hahaha. if i'm like what u said.

i got another view, i think Boyfriend/Girlfriend is a term or a relationship or a "contract" for a couple of male&female so they got the valid right to do some intimate matter/motion.

woah, means its a legal contract to do extra stuff la. hahahha. gals mayb have diff opinion.

for me
boyfriend = boy friend
girlfriend = girl friend
both are juz fren

owh, my islamic lecturer taught us that jangan bercouple2. but at the same time she encouraged us to find couple as she said some of us were ready to get married.hahahaha.

I think there are 2 aspects:



1. Romantic: you're crazy about each other; if you're crazy enough & willing to work on the relationship, this could become something long-lasting & stable...then marriage hehe

2. Platonic: just the usual buddies hehe :)

for number one, will it last long? coz i was thinking the very same thing u said few years ago and now i'm still with this idea but somehow a fren told me its just fantasy... fairytale story

It depends on you, on the other person & circumstances lo...It exists, just hope we will be lucky to find that

It's really funny when all discussing this topic...
For me, Boyfriend/Girlfriend is the special person in your life. But both of them still can't determine that they will be able stay together for the whole life...All is determine by the God, you only be able to adapt to it in your own ways...hehe...
