Guide for Keyboard Shortcuts:-

ESC - Open/Close menu to end the game or return to the main menu.

F1~F9 - Use items or skills in the Shortcut Keys window

F10 - Adjust chat window size

F11 - Exit all windows except Basic Info and chat window

Insert - Character Sit/Stand

STATUS OF A CHARACTER
STR(Strength) =Increases attack strength and weight capacity.

AGI(Agility) =Increases attack speed and dodge rate.

VIT(Vitality) =Increases defense and vitality, as well as HP recovery.

INT(Intelligence) =Increases magic attack and magic defense.

DEX(Dexterity) =Increases accuracy and stabilizes the amount of damage done by a weapon. As well as lowers the cast time to some skills/spells.

LUK(Luck) =Increases Critical hits and perfect dodge rate, and brings about lots of luck.

Introduction

Hi there if u are interested in making urself a PvP and MvP Rogue, This Guide
may help u out little bit. So sit back and read away

Novice

As a Novice ur first objective is to lvl "A.S.A.P". So to do this i suggest
get a friend to tank u, or if u have no friends cause its ur first time
playing RO or u just plan have no friends, i then suggest buy a Tank from
an Assassin, Crusader, Knight, Hunter, BS, Rogue or Priest. They will tank u
on Smokies or poporings cause they are the easiest to kill.
Things will go more smoothly if u have a +7 or +10 Main Gauge.

Becoming Thief

Once u have reached Job lvl 10 u can then head to the Theif Guildsmen
located North west of Morroc(moc_ruins). You will have to go through a
fairly simple task of collecting ur Orange Gooey mushrooms and Orange net mushrooms
u will b able to asend urself into a thief. From here u can Equip urself with a
Stilleto( hint: its probably best to use a +7 or more Stilleto, and dnt sell it
once u are finished with it. keep it in ur storage. who knows u might make
a new char who will need it. )
neways at ur lvl u will not b able to kill ne thing, so Start off ur lvling as follows:

1-50 Job lvling Areas as Thief

1-10- Bats and Zombies
11-20- Zombies and Smokies
21-30- Smokies, Eggyra, Martin and Poison Spores
31-40- Dokebi, Thara Frog
41-50- Dokebi, Mist case, Ghoul and Obeaune

Skills as Thief

10- Double atk
10- Increase Dodge
10- Envenom
10- Steal
1- Hiding
1- Dextoxfy

From reading this u are probly wondering "y there are only 42 skills there??"
well its up to u if u want to get to Job lvl 50, but just so u know job lvl 42 is
ok to. now we come to ur Stats.

Stats as Thief

Str- 25
Agi- 65

Vit- 1
Dex- 35
Luk- 1

Becoming Rogue

Now we come to the most annoying part... the Rogue test. this Test is easy
if u keep all ur loot items from the near beginning, also getting every answer
for the writen test correct will make everything simple.

So it all starts like this. Head to Comodo and talk to the Kafra Staff. wrp urself to the Area that Costs 800z.
Then go south east till u find the Rogue
Guildsmen underground. Talk the the Female guildsmen known as Markie. She
will assist u with the writen test. the questions are fairly simple so dnt panic.
After Completing the Writen test u need to move upto the top floor and speak
to the guildsman known as Smith Lato. He will assist u with the Item gathering.
the Items u need to gather are complely random so keeping ur loot
is a pretty good idea. After collecting all the items u need for Smith Lato,
he will tell u to find a Rogue who will put u in a maze which i cannot discripe.

Now then wen u finish the maze u will be transported back into the Rogue
Guildsman room where u can now speak to Markie once more and finally
transform into a Rogue....CONGRATULATIONS!!

Now From here u can kill things easily like Dokebi. these will make ur first few
lvls a breeze. Here is another where lvl Chart.

Job lvling areas as Rouge

1-10- Dokebi
11-20- Dokebi, Requiem
21-30- Nightmare, Iris, (also from here u should b in a Guild and party.)
31-50- From here Kill MvP's in Parties.

MvP Hunter Guide
I dont have much to say so here it goes:

Novice Starting Build:
1 str
9 agi
1 vit
9 int
9 dex
1 luk

You know the drill, kill weak monsters like Porings and Willows but I suggest you hunt Pupas. They give high job experience and drops nice items like Guard [1] and Pupa Cards, that items can give you money early in the game.
Put all your status points on dex. And remember to pick up all the loots from monsters.
After being an archer, sell all your loots and buy silver arrows and red potions, if you have picked up pupa cards or guard [1] earlier, sell them to other players (NOT NPCs!) and buy a cross bow so you can use it later. Remember to save money.
Go straight to Payon Cave after being an archer. When leveling, go to a place with many people, go between the people so you are safer. Get Vulture's eye, until its level 7. Then head straight to byalan island, Kill hydras. they also give high job experience. If you are lucky, you can get a hydra card, You can sell that to buy an AoA, or if you are so lucky that you get many of 'em, buy a mocking muffler/hood.
Continue leveling up in byalan until you are level 33. After that, get a gakkung and upgrade it if you have the money. Starting level 33, you should put all your stats to agi to dodge monsters. You need to level up fast so you can hunt to get rich so head straight to Prontera and ask an acolyte or priest to warp you to gh underprison. Go to a spot where there are many people so the monsters' attention won't be focused on you, and double strafe all those undeads and use normal shots to insect monsters.
Stay in GH until you are a Archer Job 41.
By then: your skills should be like this.
10 Double Strafe
10 Owl's Eye
10 Vulture's Eye
10 Improve Concentration
You really don't need to put skill points in arrow shower because there are extra skill points after learning all the essential skills of hunter.

Change Job.

After being a hunter, level up outside the hunter's guild and get falcon mastery, then buy a falcon and a Hunters bow then head straight to GH Underprison. Again, you can upgrade your hunter's bow if you have the money. After your agi is 70, or 80 (if you still don't have a mocking muffler), put your status points in dex again. In your skills, max out steel crow, Blitz Beat, Ankle snare and the rest are optional.
After 70ing or 80ing your agi, put all your stats in dex again.
When you are level 70, you should have 70 dex and 70 agi or 80 agi and 50+ dex or so.
Go straight to Sphinx and hunt requiems to get OBBs. You can either sell OBBs or open them to get rare items to sell. Continue leveling there until you have boots of hermes, extra tights, AoA, binoculars, and 2 nimble clips. And a decent bow, boned and bloody or hallowed. I suggest using +10 composite bows because they are cheaper than +8 gakkung and they are lighter too compared to other bows.
After having those items, you can either level up solo in GH underprison with your quad Boned composite bow or team up with a priest and go to Glass Heim 2f, Glass Heim Chivalry, or Clock tower B2F, whichever you want. Continue leveling there until you are level 99. When you are level 90+, you should replace the nimble clips, your AoA and your mocking muffler with nimble brooches, Ghost bandana and muffler of rogue.

At level 99 your final stats should benot including the bonus)

+10 Double Clamorous Flammable Titan composite bow, crystal arrow - Eddga
+10 quad insectiside composite bow, fire arrow,- Maya and Mistress.
+10 quad hallowed composite bow, silver arrow - Baphomet& DoppelGanger.

PvP Hunter Guide

Start as:
9dex - 9agi - 9int

As novice kill whetever you can kill and become archer.

Go get job to have vulture eyes. around lvl 6 job i guess

Than head up to Mandragoras at north-east Prontera.
Keep killing till you have lvl 10 vulture. If exp stills good get lvl 10 Owl´s eye.

So far you only put stats point into DEX. Only DEX (unless you have ubber equip and dont need high damage)

Now go to morroc and start Hode´s hunt season, bring fire arrows, go snipe over the mountains and kill Anacondaqs, Chonchons and Hodes till Lvl 32-35 or 40 if you like here.

Yet keep pumping your DEX you target is 60DEX.

Now you can try mummys at mids 3, snipe beetwen the gaps on the floor, you might get some good itens here like Mummy and SS card. Maybe an AoA that you should need.
An option is to kill Geographers in Juno field, it maybe hard now that monsters have hide skills. But since Geographers give you so nice EXP you can try once. Geos are weak to fire arrows.

You must have a Gakkung +5 and silver arrows to enhance your dmg. Dont go for Arbalest, despite the +2 DEX you will have a lower DMG since you should have 60DEX now and the next bonus is on 70. Don´t party aco yet, because you can do it alone with redz and conc/awakes pots, with no exp share. Yes Hunters are sellfish /gg

Mummys are good to get job 40, if exp slows down you can try argiopes that give much more individual exp. But since they are soo hard to kill you exp per minute still better at mummys.

If you get 60DEX already, start pumping your AGI. This will greatly improve your atacks and give you nice flee status. AGI target is 80.

Ok you got job 40, you should get 41 lazy to have IC lvl 10. Because wasting 1 Hunter job point on this is a sacrifice you dont wanna do.

For those who like job 50 i suggest GH Graveyard hit & run. If you die too much here get back to mummys.

Now turn to Hunter and get lvl 5 ankle snare. Not soo much change here unless you want to spend lots of money in traps to kill ubber monsters. You should try GH and trap Hunter Flies. The rest you can hit&run.

Strongly recommended a +5/+6/+7 Hunter bow.

After lvl 65 you can party at GH prison and here you can stay till lvl 80.

After lvl 80 you aren´t a noob anymore and dont need guide to lvl up. I hope.

Hello everybody,i can't say that i am an expert in assassin but let me enlighten you with 1 of my Hyper Assassins build.


Final stats should be :

STR: 84 +6 (strong!)

AGI: 90 +10 (speed and dodge,deal fast damage)

VIT: 18 +2 (u r not a knight)

INT: 1 +4 (u r not a wizard)

DEX: 32 +8 (standard)

LUK: 40 (its enuff)im just trying to round up the stats in 10's because its better that way.


this build focuses on Hyper High Flee and Hyper Fast attack Speed.

thats why i call it Hyper Assassin build.


skills to get when u r thief (you need job 50 for better result)


49 skills point distributed in your thief job:

now for your Hyper Assassin skills ( of coz u get to get job 50 anyways)

Flee..even MVPs can't touch you. and you will be dealing MASSIVE FAST
DAMAGE.

(assassin is meant to kill fast )

the bad side of this build is pvping. especially vs wizards coz
magic dont miss.so better dont use this build for pvp.anyways if u
really hardcore pvp..bring a lot white potions, or just use another
build. Hyper Assassin is much better at PvM and MVPing coz u deal
damage so fast and mvp cant hit you.

finally updated this guide... i hope this time the update is for
better..the 99 agi stays.. sorry 99 agi haters. if dont like 99 agi try
another build. this build is meant for fast attack speed and flee.
basically super pvm machine.

korang beli la ape2 yg murah tapi berat die dlm lingkungan 10-20. kalau aku beli refine item cam phracon kat tempat refine tu. baru 200z n berat die 20. korang beli la 2500 bijik menatang tu pastu sumbat dalam cart jadi la 50000(full)berat die. ala kalau kire2 balik baru 500kz je pon. jgn kedekut kalau nak jadi kuat nih. nak simpan brg lebih bile overweight? senang taip @storage je pastu kuar la korang punye storage yg bole simpan sampai 300 jenis item. so pandai2 la jimatkan ruang...


penah tengok si natalie ws girl tu?(ntah girl ke idak).die kene asura selambe jek masih bernafas... lawan LK ngan paladin pon selambe je die sapu kalau sume x pakai pot kecuali blue pot huhu. aku ckp ni coz aku sendiri yg nampak. Ermm test la korek2 dari die ape eq n card yg die pakai... huhuhu ^^

aku rase mmg ramai xnak main full combo champ kan? bukan ape.. aku pon penah test pakai full combo champ ni. penat ooo jari jemari ini menekan combo2 die lepas triple blow, quadruple blow, the way of dragon (ragging thrust),chain crush combo, tiger pejadah combo n ape ntah.mmg penat! kalau pakai asura... menatang yg hp bawah dari 200k gerenti mati terus.xyah nak combo2 nih.

eq msti la eq yg gempak2! cam pakai 2 meging n 1 mjolnir.. eq lain korg tambah la kad yg tambah str n cari jgk kad yg tambah sp coz lagi banyak sp korg lagi power asura tu(bole la) xyah guna berzebub card. guna mantis or zerom card je kalau xde meging. penah tgk champ asura MVP lebih 500k dmg die? gile kan?tapi nak wat ni kene ade 2 org sebagai supporter (priest n soul linker)
time aku gune champ dulu asura dlm 240k je tu perseorangan!brg2 aku cuma mace 4 slot letak abyssmal knight card 4, ngan 2 megingiord n 1 lord kaho horn. ok cite sikit peranan supporter nih. soul linker nih kan ade kuase soul link (bole tambahkan damage). guna skill tu kat champ korang. then bring along a priest to the MVP.
priest kan ade kuasa lex aeterna (double the damage taken from next attack) guna kuase tu kat MVP malang tersebut, kemudian champ tadi asura la. kalau ade asura ngan soul link, rasenye bole cecah 300k. bile tambah ngan lex aeterna? x ke 600k tu? hahaha. selamat mencuba n selamat beramal!
