1. yaya, during my badge, mandarin is compulsory for all!!now, i m not sure stil compulsory o not.?

2.as i know, FL2 is not linked to to FL1.

3. if for me, ofcos mandarin laa, i know mandanrin compared to other language.

ish, japanese and is super famous, now only left german for me to choose. coz i dun wan chinese and arabic.lol

I try to find my lecturer and the officer of FKPPT today but they can't give me the answer but you did...
Anyway...I still worry what suppose we have to choose for foreign language?

i guess theres no way u can tell which one is easier or simpler to learn cuz this is language we are talking bout. language needs brush up and if its not ur everyday language, u wont find it easy to learn. u might even get turned away. however, its an out and out selection and it all boils down to what u like actually. if u take interest in arabic, u cud end up promoting the language to the juniors instead, who knows, rite?

Yes, definitely Mandarin is very easy for chinese who are chinese educated since they are young. So I think we(chinese) shouldn't waste the credit hour to study the same foreign language. Why we don't maximise the credit hour by study other Foreign Language as well as improve/upgrade ourself?

As we know that foreign language is very important at everywhere especially when we work. So it's advisable to learn more language.

We wouldn't lose to study more foreign language, but we will lose if we know little about it...!!!

there will more language to be implemented..

radin87, As i know the Mandarin is not compulsory for all Chinese student in UMP started this year for whom have sited for mandarin test during SPM.

oh yeah.. i forgot..
