SNSD’s album is on its way to sell over 200,000 copies

The popular girl group SNSD has sold over 100,000 copies of their last three albums, impressing many music listeners. With their latest album, they surpassed 100,000 mark by far!

The song Oh! has been winning the #1 spot on music charts and programs. The album itself has sold over 150,000 copies already and they are expecting it to pass the 200,000 mark soon.

It’s rare for an artist to surpass the 100,000 mark, let alone the 200,000 mark. We can definitely say that SNSD has reached the top in terms of popularity and sales.

An associate said, “SNSD’s sales are Korea’s best. They are a national representative so I think they will break more records.”

Yonghwa and Seohyun couple spotted in Insadong!



Already known to be one of Korea’s most crowded city, Insadong was extra jam-packed on the 23rd due to a surprise visit by, perhaps, the most anticipated couple of this year. Why, it was none other than Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun of We Got Married, of course!

We reported on this special sighting earlier, and the photos have stirred up quite a positive reaction from netizens. The lucky pedestrians who happened to be at Insadong at the moment left various comments about their sighting. ”At first, I thought this couple would totally ruin the show. But I just love them now! So cute!! ^^,” one said; another mentioned, ”I couldn’t believe my own eyes. These two idols definitely make a lovely couple.” One even expressed, ”Haha, they were eating sweet potato pies. Seohyun must’ve been happy.”

Only after a few days their last outing date at the amusement park, it seems like the two are getting along pretty well. Make sure to check out their first broadcast, which is scheduled to air this weekend.

berdasarkan pengetahuan yg aku tahu.. jualan album untuk grup gals adalaha rare untuk cecah 100k di korea.. so soshi adalah hebat kerana boleh cecah angka begitu.. kalu cecah 200k adalah miracle yg sgt2 diharapakan.. dan ianya tidak mustahil..

=] Seems like your chart informations a little messed up there sweetie. Hanteo charts only includes Version A of Mirotic. If you look at the Mirotic album, it says (CD+Photobook only) Meaning they only counted Version A.

MIAK charts counts ALL versions. Including Version B which came out the same time as Version A. So the 300,000 copies sold for Mirotic on the Hanteo charts are ONLY FOR VERSION A.


Heres the main idea : HANTO charts only includes SOME of Mirotic sales while MIAK chart counts ALL of Mirotics sales.


So...Yepp. Like i said before, Mirotic sold 300,000 copies in a matter of 5 days. And like amyyk3 said, Charts dont lie.

There is lot of confusion because for many albums the real actual sales numbers are not really available. And often the Hanteo numbers and the actual sales numbers can differ greatly (e.g. Seotaji fans buy batches of albums that are not tracked by Hanteo)

These are the kpop artists who can sell actual 200K+ full albums = Golden Disk contenders.


DBSK is in a league of its own. Among the rest of the artists, no one is clearly dominant
